About
A robotics company that started in the classroom.
Hawaii Robo Labs began as a way to run a robotics course in an ordinary school computer room — no robotics lab, no technician on call: block coding in a browser, compiled on a server, burned to a board over USB. It grew into a full academy platform — Arduino, ROS 2 and Computer Vision — and now into robots delivered as a service for the businesses around those schools.
Our vision
Robotics education for every student.
Our aim is to make practical robotics education accessible to students in every school, at every level — government, aided, private or any other institution. A school should not need a large robotics laboratory or expensive infrastructure to give its students meaningful exposure to modern robotics.
-
Everyone deserves access to robotics
Whether a student studies in a government school, an aided school, a private school or any other institution, the same practical robotics education should be within reach.
-
Talent should not be limited by opportunity
Many students have exceptional curiosity, creativity and technical potential, but no access to a robotics lab, equipment, mentors or a place to build. That is the gap we exist to close.
-
Real technology belongs in the classroom
Students learn on educational robots and platforms built on the same technologies used in industrial and professional robotics — Arduino, ESP32, Python, ROS 2 and computer vision.
-
Learn by building, not by reading
Students should design, program, assemble, test, troubleshoot and improve real robotic systems — not memorise diagrams of them.
-
A progressive learning journey
Start with age-appropriate concepts and move gradually from electronics and programming to sensors, automation, AI, computer vision, ROS and autonomous systems. See the full pathway.
-
Education connected to industry
Students should see how what they learn in school is applied in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, agriculture, service robotics and automation.
-
Advanced technology beyond elite institutions
Because the workspace runs in a browser and the compiling happens on our servers, an ordinary computer room becomes a robotics lab — no specialist infrastructure required.
-
Problem-solvers, not robot operators
The objective is computational thinking, engineering skill, creativity, teamwork, analytical thinking and the ability to solve a real problem — not a rehearsed demonstration.
-
Discover potential early
Exposure to robotics at an early age helps a student find an interest in engineering, software, AI, electronics, automation and emerging technology while there is still time to act on it.
-
A bridge from school to career
The pathway carries a student from basic STEM concepts toward the skills that matter in higher education, research, startups and the future workforce.
-
An ecosystem, not just a kit
Hardware alone is not enough. We provide the robots, curriculum, software, projects, teacher support, training and continuous learning that make robotics education actually work.
The company
How we work, and where we are going.
What we believe
Students should read the real code from day one. Teachers should never need to build the circuit the night before.
How we build
One platform description drives everything — the installer, the blocks, the showcase, the articles. Supporting a new robot is a row in a table and a small bridge, not a new product.
Where we are going
More robot families for the classroom, and utility robots on subscription for hotels, hospitals, offices and campuses — watched over by the same dashboard.
See it running with your own class — or your own building.
A 30-minute demo covers the academy platform end to end, and where a utility robot could earn its keep on your site.
